Technical specifications
316L adds molybdenum, which is what keeps it from pitting in chloride exposure — marine air, salt water, chemical plants and medical equipment. Coils are cold rolled, slit to width and delivered eye to sky or eye to wall depending on how your decoiler is set up.

Packing and delivery
Eye to sky on wooden pallets with a v-board support, or eye to wall in a steel cradle, strapped with galvanised band. Slit edges are deburred.

Can you slit coil to a narrow width?
Yes, from 3 mm upwards, with the burr side controlled. Send the width, the tolerance and the coil weight your line can handle.
Do you supply 316L with a specific surface for stamping?
Tell us the drawing depth and whether lubricant is applied at your press — we will match the surface roughness and the film accordingly.
