Technical specifications

The zinc coating on galvanized steel corrodes before the steel does, so the coating weight decides the service life. We supply Z120 to Z275 with a regular, minimized or skin-passed spangle, and we state the coating weight and the standard on the quotation so you know exactly what you are buying.

FAQ

Which coating weight do I need for a roof?
For a coastal or high-rainfall market, Z275 is the safe choice; inland and dry conditions can work with Z180. We will tell you honestly if a cheaper coating suits your location.
Is the spangle important?
Only if the sheet will be painted or seen. Minimized spangle and skin-passed surfaces paint better; regular spangle is the usual choice for unpainted roofing.
